Now you can weigh your weight or any item at your home by bringing floor scales. These are designed for weighing goods which cannot be weigh on bench scales. For example the aircraft has a limited but fixed weight to carry. So they use these floor scales for measuring. The demerit of floor scale is sometimes they don't show the accurate weight. • Explosion proof platform scale: these are used for weighing highly flammable liquids and chemicals. This scale can with stand from flames and explosion which can be caused due to this chemical. This doesn't cause fire while weighing highly inflammable chemicals.

• Health scale: generally seen at the hospitals. These scales are light weight and can be carried from room to room for weighing the patients. You can invest this floor scale for your home.


• Digital floor scale: This runs by electricity and gives exact measurement. The output measurement given by this scale is fast. It can measure from .1 gram.

• Retail scales: these are seen at food factories. This scale has a dial which measure the weight accurately and can be cleaned easily.

• Spring floor scales: these scales are not accurate for weighing heavy objects. The objects are suspended in the air for measuring the weight. These are used only for demonstration purpose.
